Lord Hanuman is the greatest devotee of Sri Rama., and is known by many names such as Rama bhakta, Vayu putra, Anjaneya, Bajarangabali etc. The almighty himself is the embodiment of Seva (Service) and Bhakti (devotion). Even to the present day, the Lord has protected his devotees, and his devotees have experienced his blessing in various forms. Some devotees pray to Lord Hanuma at this temple by making wishes (Harake), and many realize their wishes with the blessing of Hanuma. Thus the name Harake Hanuma.

Sri Harake Hanuma temple is located in the ITI Layout near Purnapragna Vidhyapeeta, Bangalore. The temple opened with a small Hanuman diety over 42 years ago, and by the anugraha of the Lord has grown multifold. Along with ‘Moola’ Hanuma, the temple is home to ‘Dodda’ Hanuma, Vinayaka and Sri Rama Parivara.
